Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Storyomi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the service. Storyomi is currently in private alpha; access may be revoked at any time during this period without notice or liability.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Storyomi. By accessing or using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these Terms on your behalf before you use the service.

You retain 100% ownership of everything you create on Storyomi — your stories, characters, scripts, dialogue, art assets, and any other original content you author or upload. By publishing a game, you grant Storyomi a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, transcode, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and making your game available to players.

You agree not to use Storyomi to publish, upload, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise disrupt the platform, its APIs, or its underlying infrastructure. You may not use automated tools to access or interact with the service without prior written consent.

Storyomi is pre-release, alpha-stage software under active development. Features, interfaces, and data structures may change, break, or be removed at any time without advance notice. We do not provide any Service Level Agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee during the alpha period. While your data is handled with care and good faith, we cannot guarantee zero data loss during this phase of development.

The Storyomi service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Storyomi expressly disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Storyomi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and endeavour to provide reasonable notice — such as an in-app notification or email — for significant revisions. Your continued use of Storyomi after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
