Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the platform.

• –When you create an account: email address, display name, profile picture (optional).
• –When you use the platform: games you create, scripts you write, assets you upload, your play progress and save states.
• –Basic usage analytics — page views and feature interactions. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.

Your data is used to operate and improve Storyomi — nothing else.

• –To operate the platform: authenticate you, store your games and progress, serve assets to players.
• –To improve Storyomi: aggregate, anonymised usage patterns only.
• –To contact you: only for service-critical communications (security notices, major policy changes).
• –We do not send marketing email without explicit opt-in.

Your data is stored on servers in the EU (or equivalent jurisdiction). Assets are stored in S3-compatible object storage. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. During alpha, infrastructure may change — we will communicate significant changes before they happen.

We keep our third-party footprint minimal.

• –Google OAuth — optional sign-in, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• –We do not use Facebook, Twitter, or advertising SDKs.

You are in control of your data at all times.

• –Export your game data at any time from the Studio.
• –Delete your account and all associated data from Settings.
• –Request a copy of all personal data we hold by emailing [email protected].
• –We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

We use a single session cookie for authentication. No tracking cookies, no ad cookies, no third-party cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the application will not function without the session cookie.

Storyomi is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
